We offer a wide variety of color and materials to choose from. You don’t have to choose the color and material of your cabinets without having a look at them come into life through our 3-D drawings. Restoration Services
We work with several restoration companies here in Edmonton. These companies specialize in insurance claims and coordinating all the trades to complete the task.
Small jobs
Restoration jobs normally consist of smaller cabinet jobs, like one new cabinet box or a new baseboard. This is a service we offer.
Color Match
We do in house color matching, and we can offer several lines of textured melamine's to try and keep the costs down
Time lines
We have a net work of companies that work together, to help with your time lines. We have the man power.
Reface cabinets
Sometimes the cabinet case work is ok and just needs new doors, normally it keeps the cost down, and is a great way to refresh your kitchen.
What to know
The new doors are not an issue.
- An issue is the cabinet edging color, to change the edge color sometimes costs more then the doors.
- Another issue is the hinges, normally if they are BLUM hinges there isn't an issue. But there are a lot of Knock off hinges that require cabinets to be built differently and do cause issues.
- Another issue is the face frame and side panels. some companies build the end panels into the case work these panels can not be replaced they need to be redone on site. And face frame cabinets (These are cabinets with flat panels between the doors) these parts cant be removed and need to be finished on site
- If you start running into to many of these issues its cheaper to replace the cabinets.

- Keep it as is, just paint the cabinets.

Is it worth it?
Some times it is.
Why spend the money for a new kitchen if its not really needed? Most people just want the kitchen to look good and if everything works ok then yes reface is an option.
But:
If things don't work well. like the slides stick or the hinges are broken.
If things are warn out and cabinets are black.
If you have mold and bad smells.
If it just doesn't function well as a kitchen.
too many IF's = You need to consider replacing it.

33% of our work here at Iconic Cabinets is Kitchens. most of the cabinet shops are set up for kitchen's and vanities only. they don't normally get the opportunity to build anything else.

Difficult cabinets
Because of our past knowledge we can build the difficult cabinet at a reasonable price.
If you ask some one who hasn't build a custom cabinet like the one you want they should bid high. if they bid too low then they will look for ways to cut corners, and you may not get what you expected.
